SEIU FPSU Election Committee

The process of approving the Committee on the Future's Dues Equity Proposal is finished!  The first secret ballot votes were cast to approve that proposal at our January 9th Constitutional Convention in Orlando.  Votes were held on subsequent Tuesdays in Palm Beach County (January 19th), Tampa Bay area (January 26th) and Jacksonville (February 2nd).

The Dues Equity Proposal votes were counted on the afternoon of Saturday, February 6th at our Orlando office.  The vote count was an overwhelming 195 - 24 to approve!  "I'm so glad the members approved the Dues Equity Proposal," said Election Committee Chair, Liza Jacobs.  "Now we'll finally have a fair dues structure across our union and the resources we need to really move forward."

Our mail ballot election for officers and Executive Board seats is now under way.  Ballots were mailed on January 27th.  If you haven't received yours or want to request a replacement ballot for any reason, call Angelina Whitbeck at (866) 855-5004.  Ballots must be RECEIVED by Thursday, February 25th to be counted.

Don't wait.  Mark your ballot and mail it right away!
