Political awareness and activism is key to building a strong union.  You can help support candidates who support us by your voluntary COPE participation.  To learn more, call our Member Resource Center at (866) 855-5004.

What is COPE?

COPE = Political Power.  C.O.P.E. is the Committee on Political Education, our union's Political Action Committee for political and legislative activities.  We hold politicians accountable at every level of government and help our union build the political power needed to win strong contracts, better benefits and pass laws to protect our jobs and communities.

Become a Member Political Organizer

Member Political Organizers (MPOs) are members who take time to work on political campaigns.  They participate in the endorsement process, talk to their coworkers about our endorsed candidates and help our candidates get their message out and win.   Once elected, MPOs help hold those officials accountable and advocate for our important issues.
